Medicare Advantage has transformed the hearing aid industry, driving the rise of third-party administrators (TPAs) and reshaping private practice audiology — especially in Pennsylvania. This session explores the history and rapid growth of TPAs, their evolving impact on private practices, and the latest macro trends in Medicare Advantage with some predictions for what they might mean. With a special focus on Pennsylvania’s Medicare Advantage landscape, attendees will gain valuable insights into penetration rates, plan specific data, and case studies featuring successful practices. The session will conclude with strategic solutions to help private practices adapt, compete, and thrive in the changing healthcare environment.
